Martin Buber autograph letter signed ''Martin Buber'' as an honorary professor at the University of Frankfurt. Datelined Heppenheim, Germany, 16 November 1934, letter written in German to Herr Koch translates in part, ''...I am very sorry that I was away during your visit and that I did not have a chance to see you. I hope there will be another occasion to soon see each other. I would really like to meet your cousin, it has been such a long time that I have not been to Ober-Hambach and have no idea when I will be able to visit there again.'' Four years later Buber left Germany and settled in Jerusalem. 2pp. on a single sheet. Measures 5.5'' x 8.5''. Near fine condition.
