James Stewart contract signed for his Academy Award nominated role in ''Anatomy of a Murder'', considered by many as the best trial movie of all time. Dated 17 December 1958, 27pp. contract is signed on the last page ''James Stewart'' along with a representative from Carlyle Productions. Stewart also initials a change to page 20A and initials his handwritten note on the first page, ''File - JS / 'Anatomy of a Murder'''. Stewart stars in the film in exchange for $200,000 plus a percentage of gross receipts. Pages measure 8.5'' x 13'' on 27 separate sheets.
