Letter reads in part, ''Dearest Janet - I wore your beautiful scarf to a mass that was said for my mother on June 28th at St. Patrick's Cathedral at 8:30 a.m. It was short - just half an hour. In the middle the priest said, 'this is for Edith Bouvier who was married in this church.' So I will never forget that morning and I had on your beautiful gift...Edith Beale / P.S. Am very fond of [illegible]''. Single-page letter on lavender stationery measures approximately 5'' x 7.5'' Near fine.
