Edgar Hoover signs this first edition of ''Masters of Deceit: The Story of Communism in America and How to Fight It'' published by Henry Holt and Company: New York: 1958. Hoover signs ''Mr. and Mrs. D.W. Thomonder / from / J. Edgar Hoover'' on the front free endpaper. 274pp. volume measures 5.5'' x 8.5''. Slight edge wear to boards, light soiling on the tail edge and some pen underlining in the forward. Very good condition.
