Front free endpaper has Hoover's autograph inscription inked in blue, ''To my good friend / Admiral Wm V. Platt / from / Herbert Hoover''. Tome runs 212pp. Bound in blue cloth boards with gilt lettering. Measures 6'' x 8''. Toning to edges and reaer endpapers, a numerical notation in pencil to the front free endpaper and wear to board edges, else near fine.
