Letter signed by Helen Dukas, Albert Einstein's personal secretary, to whom he appointed as co-trustee for his literary rights. Dukas writes to Professor Paul Epstein in December 1962, regarding letters from Einstein to the physicist Paul Epstein, as Dukas was working on a catalogue of Einstein's scientific correspondence. In this letter, she thanks Epstein for a missing letter, and details several other letters, seeking more information about them. She finishes, ''...I do not know if you remember me- I accompanied Professor Einstein on his first trip to Pasadena in December 1930...'' Single page measures 8.5'' x 11''. Heavy chipping with some paper loss; good condition.
