Beautiful crystal sherry glass owned by the quintessential American gangster, Al Capone. Apropos of Capone's rise in the gangster underworld during Prohibition, this spirits glass was likely used by Capone and his cohorts during the time when alcohol was legally banned in the United States. Ornate crystal glass measures 5.5'' tall and 3.125'' in diameter across the rim. With attractive foliate engraving on cup and base. Near fine condition.
