Golden Globe awarded in 1972 for Best Documentary for ''Walls of Fire'' about the history of Mexican murals and the artists who created them, including Diego Rivera and José Clemente Orozco. In addition to winning Best Documentary, ''Walls of Fire'' received an Academy Award nomination for Best Documentary Feature. Golden Globe features an engraved plaque mounted to the marble pedestal reading, ''Walls of Fire / Best Documentary Film / 1972 / Hollywood / Foreign Press / Association'' with serial number 3282. Statue measures 8.75'' tall on a 3.125'' square base. Some rubbing to gilt finish, otherwise near fine condition. Accompanied by the Golden Globe nomination for ''Walls of Fire'', framed to 9'' x 11.5''.
