Karl Donitz typed letter signed on his personal ''Grossadmiral'' stationery, dated 23 March 1977. Donitz writes to a Mr. Metzger in German and sends photos to Metzger's two sons. He signs in blue ink: ''Donitz''. 8.25'' x 11.75'' letter is accompanied by a 6.25'' x 4.5'' envelope postmarked from Aumuhle, Germany, Donitz's hometown. Near fine condition.
