General George Custer signed envelope, as addressed to his wife ''Mrs Genl Custer''. The legendary General writes to his wife in Monroe, Michigan, postmarked from New York. Envelope is blind-embossed with the logo of the Fifth Avenue Hotel in New York. Measures approximately 5.25'' x 3.125''. Uneven right edge from opening, and smudging to writing. Very good condition.
