Known for his marksmanship and investigative skill, Hamer was lured out of retirement to lead the manhunt for the notorious Bonnie & Clyde, after they had eluded and killed policemen for two years. Check is made out to an L.G. Elliott on 28 February 1950 for $136.04, boldly signed ''Frank A. Hamer''. Printed on The City National Bank of Houston, Texas with ''Capt. Frank A. Hamer'' printed at top. Measures 7.25'' x 3'', encapsulated by PSA/DNA to a size of 9.625'' x 4.625. Graded 7 near mint by PSA.
