Gabriel Garcia Marquez first English edition, first printing of his modern classic, ''One Hundred Years of Solitude''. New York: Harper & Row, 1970. All first printing points are present: lacking a series of numbers on last leaf of book and $7.95 price on dust jacket, which also shows the exclamation mark at end of first paragraph on front flap. Measures 6'' x 8.75''. Bound in green cloth boards, which are frayed at base of spine, otherwise near fine. Dust jacket is creased and chipped with small amount of paper loss; overall very good condition.
