Dwight D. Eisenhower typed letter signed, dated 25 October 1943 on ''Allied Force Headquarters'' stationery. Personal letter is addressed to Eisenhower's brother, Edgar, and reads in part: ''...I think I have some idea of what you refer to as 'Army politics' that you are reading about in the papers. Actually, I don't believe it is Army politics at all...I...do the best I can at whatever job they give me...'' Signed ''Dwight''. Letter measures 8'' x 10.5'' on one page with minor toning and paperclip residue. Near fine condition.
