In full, ''I'll be glad to autograph the book, and Jones, when you send them on. I'm not much on sentiments, though. But perhaps your collection will inspire me. Cordially yours, [signed] Eugene O'Neill''. Letter is dated simply ''Jult [sic] 25th''. Single-page letter measures 8.5'' x 11''. Block of toning and a small numerical notation to verso, else near fine.
