Autograph letter signed by First Lady Edith Roosevelt, written on Sagamore Hill card stock and dated simply ''Oct 5th''. Written to Will David Howe, a publisher for Charles Scribner & Sons whom she befriended in the 1920's, letter in black ink reads in part ''...How good you are to me...I am keeping a magazine article for you - Can you come & get it on Tuesday 14th - I shall be happy if Mrs. Howe will accompany you...'' Slight toning and very slight smudging to signature. Near fine.
