Early concept art for Ridley Scott's ''Alien'', the classic 1979 sci-fi horror film, featuring the ''Engine Room'' with ''Emergency Switches'' noted. Design shows a cavernous room with an individual - small in comparison - working at the center. Artwork was done in 1977, signed ''Scott'' at bottom, possibly by Ridley Scott, but more likely Elliot Scott, a Hollywood production designer. Artwork is rendered in pen and marker in colors of grey, black and tan on lightweight artist paper. Measures 17'' x 9.25''. Near fine condition. From the collection of former 20th Century Fox executive Peter Beale, whose COA accompanies the lot.
