Stock certificate from the luxury car company, Duesenberg Automobile & Motors Co., Inc., with its ''beehive'' vignette showing a man and woman sitting between two globes, with a beehive above them. Duesenberg was a racing and luxury car manufacturer in operation for 24 years before it closed shop during the Great Depression; the Rolls Royce of its time, a ''Duesy'' car was built by hand, and dominated the Indy 500 competition during the 1920s. Eight percent preferred stock certificate is issued to Mrs. Catherine Potter on 19 February 1921. Uncancelled stock is signed at bottom by the company's Assistant Secretary and Vice President. With embossed corporate seal at bottom. Measures 12.5'' x 8.625''. Folds, and a few small holes, overall in very good plus condition.
