Duchess of Windsor personally owned fob watch. Luxury Swiss Cord spherical watch is inscribed on the bezel, ''Wallis Easter 28-III-37 David'' as the couple was forced to spend Easter of 1937 apart before reuniting and marrying that May, after Edward's controversial abdication from the throne. Watch face and verso both bulge creating a spherical effect. Measures 1'' in diameter. Some minor tarnishing, else very good condition. Provenance from the 1987 Sotheby's ''Jewels of the Duchess of Windsor'' auction held on 3 April 1987 in Geneva, lot 249.
