Lot of ten checks signed by Douglas Fairbanks, Sr., dated from 8 to 23 April 1936. The 8.25'' x 3.25'' checks are drawn on the London branch of the Guaranty Trust Company of New York in English currency. Fairbanks divorced Mary Pickford in 1936 and married Sylvia, Lady Ashley in Paris in March 1936. Checks highlight interesting details in Fairbanks' life in the month following his wedding. Folding to most checks and holes from stapling. Overall very good.
