Lion Gridiron News featuring the Detroit Lions vs. the New York Yanks, who would later become the Baltimore Colts in 1953, at Briggs Stadium on 21 October 1951. Contents include photos and rosters of players and coaches from both teams, and many period advertisements. Game featured Hall of Fame QB Bobby Layne facing off against his old teammates on the Yanks after being traded one season prior. Program measures 7.75'' x 10.5'' and runs 72pp. Cover inexpertly repaired with tape, otherwise very good condition.
