Inscribed on title page in blue ballpoint pen: ''To Jessica / with love from her friend / H.A. Rey / May 12, 1962''. Bound in yellow cloth without dust jacket, fully illustrated book contains 48 pages. Measures 8.5'' x 10.5''. Significant wear to cover and interior with detached title page, some tears, taping, and attached library card slot. Fair condition. Very scarce signature, especially with original drawing.
