Bruce Lee owned punching shield, used by Lee in the mid-1960s as part of his strenuous fitness regimen, and gifted in the late 60s (before moving back to Hong Kong) to Herb Jackson, Lee's close friend and first generation Jeet Kune Do protege. Lee was known for his incredibly powerful punches, with his explosive and unforgiving ''one inch punch'' memorialized by Quentin Tarantino in the ''Kill Bill'' franchise. BilTuff brand shield is bright blue, measuring 19'' x 17''. Broken rear strap (possibly from a hit by Lee) and scuffing from use, overall very good condition. With an LOA from Jackson's son.
