Bronze ''Parents' Magazine Medal'' for ''Kiss Me Kate'' the 1952 film often cited as the first 3-D musical. Parents magazine awarded a sought-after medal for its ''Movie of the Month'', of which this is an example. Front of medal shows a child's profile in relief, with ''The Parents' Magazine Medal / Special Merit Award to Kiss Me Kate'' engraved. ''Medallic Art Co. N.Y. Bronze'' is engraved upon the rim. Measures 2.5'' in diameter. A few small scratches, otherwise near fine condition.
