Unique autograph book signed by 45 Hollywood stars, including a rare signature of Carl ''Alfalfa'' Switzer. Book was owned by a G.I. serviceman who frequented the ''Hollywood Canteen'', a club where servicemen could hobnob with celebrities who performed and worked at the club. Alfalfa signs to page 4 of the book, signing ''To George From Alfalfa''. Soft brown leather autograph book also features signatures of Bob Hope, Edward G. Robinson, Charles Boyer, George Humbert, Billy Gilbert, Phil Regan, Bob Bailey, Franklin Pangborn, Don Costello, Esther Williams, William Bendix, Jack Carso, George Tobias, Jerome Cowan Lois Andrews, Kay Kyser, Tito Guizar, Chris Pin Martin, Andy Devine, Axel Stordahl, Lyn Wilde, Lee Wilde, Dorothy Peterson, Sally Eilers, June Clyde, Dorothy Lamour, William Gargan, Jack Haley, Robert Hutton, Fritz Feld, Phil Harris, Raymond Walburn, Chester Morris, Martha Vickers and Kay Williams. Measures 5'' x 3.75''. Slight wear to cover and some loose pages, not affecting the quality of the signatures. Very good.
