Apollo 13 crew-signed cover. The signatures of ''Fred Haise'', ''Jack Swigert'' and ''James Lovell'' appear at center, between an Apollo 13 insignia stamp and postmark from the Kennedy Space Center. Postmarked 11 April 1970, the day the spacecraft enjoyed a successful launch only to be forced into an emergency turn-around before ever reaching the moon. Fortunately the astronauts expertly improvised a repair to the spacecraft and narrowly escaped disaster, ultimately returning safely to Earth. Cover measures 6.5'' x 3.5''. Near fine.
