Andrew Johnson document signed as President, appointing Andrew Robinson as Customs officer in Indiana. Dated 8 July 1865, just months into Johnson's controversial Presidency following Abraham Lincoln's assassination, with blind-stamped seal. Document measures 16.5'' x 11.25''. Archival tape repair to verso along folds, uniform toning and light wear, overall in very good condition.
