Complete 10 volume set of ''Abraham Lincoln: A History'', written by Lincoln's personal secretaries John Hay and John Nicolay, considered one of the best and most comprehensive biographies of the President. New York: The Century Company, 1914. Bound in publisher's green cloth, with different tissued frontis portraits of Lincoln in each volume, top edges gilt and with gilt lettering to spine. Each measures 6.25'' x 9''. Scuffing to boards, private library label to front pastedown of volume 7, and hinges starting to separate to volumes 4 and 10. A good set overall.
