Kennedy's assassination, including renaming the Missile Space Center at Cape Canaveral in his honor. Teletype begins, ''Astonishment was the first reaction today of Cape Canaveral area residents to President Johnson's announcement that the Cape and its famed missile-Space Center will be named for martyred President John F. Kennedy.'' Quoting reaction from a local resident, the teletype continues, ''...'I think changing the name of the Center is a wonderful idea. I don't know about re-naming the Cape--it's been Cape Canaveral ever since it was named anything'...'' Interesting coverage of Cape Canaveral continues. Teletype measures 8.5'' x 16.5''.
